History of the College
Srivanchi College of Arts and Science, established in 2023 by the Sudharsan Educational Trust, is a premier institution dedicated to providing quality higher education in Arts and Science to students from rural and semi-urban communities. Located at Sathiyamangalam in Pudukkottai District, the college strives to nurture academic excellence, ethical values, innovation, and employability. Affiliated with Bharathidasan University, the institution is committed to empowering young minds by bridging the gap between rural potential and global opportunities through quality education, skill development, and holistic learning.
Trust
The college is managed by the Sudharsan Educational Trust, founded by the distinguished industrialist, philanthropist, and educationist Shri V. K. Sundaram, son of Brahmasri K. Vanchinatha Dikshithar, a renowned Vedic scholar. Guided by the philosophy that "Education is the greatest wealth that one can possess and the most valuable gift one can offer to society," the Trust is dedicated to providing accessible, affordable, and value-based education. Since its inception, the Trust has been committed to fostering academic excellence while promoting moral values, social responsibility, and lifelong learning among students.
Location
Srivanchi College of Arts and Science is located on NH 336 at Sathiyamangalam, about 12 km from Pudukkottai and within the campus of Sudharsan Engineering College, Sathyamangalam. The campus enjoys a strategic location with easy accessibility, situated about 40 km from Tiruchirappalli and 24 km from Bharathidasan University.
